Study Finds In-Person Events are B2B Content Marketers’ Most Effective Tactic

Perhaps in-person events are not a thing of the past...
MarketingProfs and the Content Marketing Institute (CMI) released their latest annual study(link is external) of B2B content marketing in North America. The graphic below shows which tactics are proving most effective:
For the 4th consecutive year, the study finds that in-person events (70%) are B2B content marketers’ most effective tactic.
This is an interesting stat considering a recent community discussion on virtual events vs. in-person events. While virtual events are cost & time efficient many argue that you simply can’t replace the value of face-to-face interaction. This stat definitely helps prove that point.
