Hi everybody,

I try to use the Product Features Prioritization Tool provide here: https://www.demandmetric.com/content/product-features-prioritization-tool

While discussing priorities with my collegue, we came throught the problem that some feature does not impact a perspective. For example, some features are only impacting the buyer but the end customer does not care. Then what is the best practice for the notation? Because if I put all "1" for this feature on the end customer aspect, the ranking will be affected and not in the right direction I think.

Actually, how should I note a feature which is impacting only 1-2 perspectives?

Note that the product is a B2B model and the 3 perspectives are : End Customer / Partner / Development

Thank you for your help.

Sylvain, you raise a good point.  Features generally don't have a large impact across all three perspectives and as such the criteria you use to select which feature to develop and prioritize higher than the others needs to take this into account.  Another option is to use this tool for each perspective individually and have more criteria to evaluate for each, but the same problem will emerge:  which feature is 'all around' the best feature to include in a new product or release.

We can build a tool or customize this one that is closer to what you are looking for, but you will need to become a premium member of Demand Metric.  Would you like to set up a call to discuss?
