Learning Management Systems - Vendor Comparisons
- Nov 3, 2014 10:03 PM
Has anybody ever done (and can share) a comparison of various web-based Learning Management Systems?
It would really save me a lot of time if something of the sort already exists.
Thanks so much.

Hi Kevin, Thanks for the inquiry. The LMS field is very broad with lots of choices. Here are the top five Web-based, business/corporate LMS vendors: DigitalChalk, Inquisiq R3, Grovo, Litmos, Absorb LMS. For train the trainer, you may want to consider LearnUpon.
If you give us more details on the kind of learning/training you are looking for, we can help you narrow the choice. Regards, Clare

Thank you Clare
Basically, I get a number of requests to compare LMS vendors. but don't really know where to start. Perhaps it's because, as you say, it's very broad.
Perhaps the key features that constantly get asked about are:
- Price
- Mobile compatibility (feature phone & smartphone - for the African market)
- Gamification included or not
- Video, Audio & Text based content inclusion
- Easy integration into other systems, such as KB's, Loyalty programs, CRM, etc.
Thanks so much for the help so far.
