Introduction

COVID-19 sent shock waves across businesses around the world, and marketers were not immune to the impact of the pandemic. Many marketers were forced to shift their events strategy and embrace new technologies that enabled them to engage with customers and prospects. Central to this shift has been the rise in popularity of virtual events as the next best thing to facilitating human connections in an increasingly virtual world.

This 2021 Future of Events survey was administered online during the period of June 24, 2021 to July 31, 2021. During this period, 5306 responses were collected and 561 were qualified and complete enough for inclusion in the analysis. Only valid or correlated findings are shared in this report.
